Good Chance is recruiting a new part-time role to work across its finance functions: delivering the efficient and effective day-to-day running of the company’s finances, overseeing all financial processes and supporting the Executive Director to deliver Good Chance’s vision through ensuring sound financial management and strategic advice. They will be responsible for reporting on and maintaining the company accounts, preparing management accounts, cash flow forecasts and financial reports and analysis.
We are looking for someone highly organised, systematic, proactive and conscientious, with strong attention to detail as well as a flair for flexible and lateral thinking. The role would suit someone who is looking to join a dynamic and committed team and work from the office in London, but is also open to someone who would prefer to work primarily from home or is based outside London. The right candidate will have proven financial experience in either the arts or charity sector, and an interest in working within a values-driven organisation - in this case, a leading international theatre company creating ground-breaking work at the intersection of migration, climate crisis and the polarisation of public discourse.
Salary: £38,000-£43,000 per annum pro rata depending on experience.
Hours: Suggestion of 2 days per week but open to discussion. General office hours are 10am – 6pm with one unpaid hour for lunch. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required.
Location: The Good Chance office is in Rich Mix, 35-47 Bethnal Green Road, London. We are open to home/flexible hybrid working and to candidates based outside London.
