Signposts is a Luton-based charity with more than 30 years' experience providing supported housing and mentoring to people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. It takes a strengths-based approach, helping residents identify and build on the skills they already have rather than focusing only on the difficulties they face.
Services
The charity runs residential, accommodation-based support services, combined with a dedicated support line for people who need help outside normal service hours. Its Team SP project gives the people it supports the chance to volunteer and contribute within their local community, turning lived experience into a source of confidence and skill-building.

Signposts works across Luton and Dunstable in Bedfordshire. The people it supports are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, and many face additional challenges such as social isolation, mental ill health, and substance or alcohol use.
Signposts recruits from diverse backgrounds and is explicit that core competencies, transferable skills and a can-do attitude matter more than direct previous experience for most of its roles. The charity actively welcomes applicants with lived experience of the services it provides.
