Who We Are
Inspire North is a Leeds-based charitable group formed in 2018 from the merger of two long-standing Yorkshire and North East charities: Foundation, historically focused on accommodation and resettlement for people leaving prison, and Community Links, a mental health and wellbeing charity. Together the group has over 30 years of combined experience supporting some of the most marginalised people in the region.
Services & Accommodation
Inspire North provides supported housing and homelessness prevention services, domestic abuse support, resettlement and accommodation for people leaving the criminal justice system, and services for care leavers and people with multiple, complex needs. It is a registered social landlord with relationships with over 100 private landlords and runs its own social lettings agency, Foundation Living, alongside mental health, wellbeing and stop smoking services.
Where They Operate
Inspire North works across Yorkshire and the Humber, including Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Kirklees, Calderdale, Doncaster and North Yorkshire, and the North East, including County Durham and Darlington.
Working There
Roles range from front-line support and housing officers to administration and domestic abuse navigators. The organisation is a Real Living Wage employer offering hybrid/flexible working, a contributory pension, an Employee Assistance Programme and structured career development.
