About Embassy

Embassy is a Christian charity based in Greater Manchester that helps people break the cycle of homelessness by combining safe accommodation with life-skills training and community-based support. Its flagship project, Embassy Village, is a purpose-built community of homes for men set within converted railway arches in Castlefield, Manchester, alongside a village hall, workshop, gym and green space. Embassy also runs a separate apartment block providing accommodation for women.

What they do

• Housing residents from day one, alongside pastoral and mentoring support
• Practical life-skills training in budgeting, cooking, home maintenance and work-readiness
• Help moving from homelessness into meaningful full-time employment
• Support to transition into private-sector housing, with ongoing aftercare

Working at Embassy

Roles include front-line support workers providing weekend and evening cover working closely with residents, alongside voluntary trustee positions helping govern the charity. As a faith-based organisation, some roles carry an occupational requirement related to faith, and some are single-sex roles for safeguarding reasons.
