Relocation Officer

2 x Full-Time Fixed-Term Post (12 months)

We are recruiting for two Relocation Officers post within the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s Temporary Accommodation Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on supporting residents placed in out-of-borough accommodation to return to more suitable and sustainable housing.

The Relocation Officer will provide dedicated one-to-one support to households affected by placements outside the borough, identifying realistic housing options and working with colleagues to facilitate planned moves closer to Greenwich, where possible.

You will be responsible for reviewing placements, developing relocation plans, and liaising with internal teams and external housing providers to support successful moves. A key part of the role will be working sensitively with households experiencing significant disruption, including those with medical, educational, or support needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in housing or homelessness services and be confident in managing complex cases. You should be well organised, an excellent communicator, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
