Summary of the Role

We are based in Knowsley Industrial Park and our work involves manufacturing and fitting shelters to meet our customers requirements.

This position would require you often working away nationwide installing shelters when required. Working away would come with extra benefits such as; Additional income, meals & paid for room hotels for the nights away.

We require a skilled and meticulous worker whose finish is of a high quality. However we are happy to train the right person on the mechanics and technicalities of installing aluminium and steel shelters.

We would require a keen, willing and self motivated person to undertake the following roles within their working day/week;

Within The Unit

Working with our management team as well as our experienced fabricating and fitting technicians to help gain necessary experience within our workplace
Analysing and planning workflow, space requirements and equipment placement to maximise manufacturing efficiency
Establishing an effective work sequence
Cutting & milling aluminium sections (once trained) and organising shelter components ready for the next step in the fabrication processes (i.e, when ready for paint/powder-coating, when ready for installation).
Assembling shelters ready for installation.
General workplace cleanliness & tidying.
Following general and structural fabrication drawings for installation understanding.

On Site

Installing shelters following directions accordingly.
Working within a team to undertake the installation of clients projects.
Following general and structural fitting drawings.

Requirements

A full UK driving license (essential)
CSCS card (preferred)
Streetworks qualification (preferred)
Fitting Experience (essential)
Working away availability (essential)
Successful applicant will be required to undertake DBS checks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: £13.00-£16.35 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
