Payment: £175 per week (per young person hosted)
Type: Volunteer/host role with payment
Location: Bristol and surrounding areas
About the Role:
As a Supported Lodgings Host, you will open your home to a young person and provide them with a room, meals and a supportive family environment. You will work alongside a 1625 IP support worker to help the young person develop the skills and confidence they need to move into independent living.
This is not a professional care role — it is about offering a warm, stable home and being a positive adult presence in a young person's life.
What We Are Looking For:
- People who have a spare room and are willing to share their home
- Warm, patient and non-judgmental individuals
- Commitment to supporting a young person for a minimum of 6 months
- Good communication skills and willingness to work with a support worker
- All adults in the household will need to undergo a DBS check and training
What You Will Receive:
- £175 per week payment per young person hosted
- Comprehensive training and ongoing support from 1625 IP staff
- Regular supervision and a named support worker for advice
- Access to a network of other hosts
