Working Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week.

This role requires regular travel across your region and therefore a full driving licence and access to transport is required. You will lead geographically dispersed teams and oversee multiple accommodation sites and services across your allocated area.

We are looking for an experienced, strategic leader to oversee the delivery of high-quality housing and support services within Nacro's Community Accommodation with Support Tier 2 (CAS-2) contract. This role combines operational leadership, people management, financial accountability and stakeholder engagement to ensure excellent outcomes for service users and commissioners.

This role sits within Nacro's Community Accommodation Support Service, (CAS-2) Contract which provides accommodation and support to people leaving custody or eligible for community-based alternatives to custody. As Regional Manager, you will have overall responsibility for service delivery, operational performance, safeguarding, property standards, financial management and stakeholder relationships across your region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regional Leadership: Lead and inspire teams across a large geographical area, ensuring services deliver excellent support, achieve contractual requirements and maintain high standards of performance.
  • Strategic Partnership Working: Build and maintain strong relationships with Ministry of Justice (MoJ), HMPPS, commissioners and key stakeholders, representing Nacro at a senior level.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure quality, safeguarding, risk management, incident management and service user involvement are embedded across all services.
  • Financial Management: Hold accountability for regional budgets of up to £4m, ensuring income targets, budget management and financial recovery plans are delivered effectively.
  • Property & Housing Oversight: Work closely with Asset Management and Housing Management teams to ensure compliance, property standards, tenancy management, void performance and rent collection targets are met.
  • People Leadership: Lead, coach and develop a team of Service Leads and regional teams, promoting a culture of accountability, wellbeing, continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Service Development & Improvement: Drive innovation, growth and continuous improvement, contributing to service design and leading on specialist areas such as safeguarding, property, support planning or the female service offer.

About You:

  • Experienced senior manager with responsibility for multi-site or geographically dispersed services.
  • Strong background in housing, criminal justice, supported accommodation, social care or related services.
  • Proven experience managing significant budgets and delivering operational performance.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, health and safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience developing strategic partnerships with commissioners and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support and challenge teams to achieve excellent outcomes.
  • Experience managing change, service improvement and organisational growth.
  • Confident making decisions in complex environments and holding accountability for performance.
  • Passionate about delivering person-centred services and improving outcomes for vulnerable people.

Essential Skills & Qualities:

  • Degree qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong financial and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading managers and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across a large operational area.
  • Strong understanding of performance management, governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Competent ICT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the region and nationally when required.
