About the role
Applicants for this position must be available for interview 22nd September 2026.
In this role, we’re looking for someone with experience supporting people facing homelessness, addiction, mental ill health or other complex needs — or clearly transferable experience from a related field. You’ll bring a trauma-informed, person-centred approach, confident written and verbal communication, and a good understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality. You’ll need to be able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, as part of a shared rota. Experience of key working or support planning, knowledge of harm reduction approaches, or a relevant qualification in health or social care would be helpful, but is not essential — we’re happy to hear from people who can demonstrate the right values and approach.
If successful, you’ll be joining a new team at Crowstone Manor, a supported housing project in Southend-on-Sea. You’ll be working alongside colleagues to provide intensive, tailored support to residents who are ready to rebuild their lives with dignity, purpose and hope, as part of a rota that includes weekdays, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
