1625 Independent People are recruiting for a People Support Officer – Learning & Development to cover maternity leave on a part-time basis in Bristol. Salary: £29,542 – £31,015 per year pro rata Hours: 22.5 hours per week, part-time Contract: Maternity cover Location: Bristol About the Role: The People Support Officer (L&D) will support the delivery of the organisation's learning and development programme, helping staff across 1625 Independent People to build their skills and knowledge. You will coordinate training, manage learning resources and work with managers to identify development needs across the workforce. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and administer the organisation's training and development programme - Source, book and evaluate internal and external training opportunities - Maintain the learning management system and training records - Support the induction process for new starters - Work with managers to identify and address learning and development needs - Produce reports on training activity and compliance - Support the development of internal training materials and resources About You: - Experience in a learning and development, HR or administrative role - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail - Confident using IT systems and databases - Good communication skills and ability to build relationships across the organisation - An understanding of charity or social care sector training requirements is desirable 1625 Independent People is a Bristol-based charity working with young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, helping them to build the skills and confidence to live independently.
