Forum have been providing support and accommodation to homeless young people and adults for 55 years. We care about people. Our committed staff and Members have a heart for our residents and are dedicated to equipping and empowering them with the skills, abilities, and confidence they need to go on to live well and independently.

It is an exciting time for us at Forum as we deliver the fourth year of our 5 year business plan “Building Lives Enabling Change”.  We are building, adapting and developing our services to provide the best possible accommodation and support.

We are proud of our Christian foundation and enduring ethos and are committed to increasing the diversity of our Board.  We seek applications from people with a range of abilities, skills and backgrounds,  who are empathetic to the Christian faith and way of life.  To better reflect our resident population we would particularly welcome female applicants, and those from under represented groups . 

In addition to the usual skills required to be an effective Board Member, we are specifically looking for candidates with skills, knowledge and experience in any of the following Housing Sector areas: 

tenancy management principles / customer consultation / income management  (rent) / regeneration

Forum’s valued Board Members serve on a voluntary basis, with expenses reimbursed.  Board Members gain the experience and reward of being able to make a difference in the lives of the local  homeless people we strive to support.
