About Our Team

The Lancashire team consists of an Interventions Lead, Counsellors, Group Facilitators and a Volunteer Co-Ordinator who all work across multiple bases across Lancashire delivering both psychosocial and therapeutic group work.

The Opportunity

As a Ketamine Group Facilitator within the Acorn Lancashire Community Service team, you will work closely with its service users to deliver a specifically tailored Ketamine treatment programme to support their recovery journey to ‘a life worth living’. Your role will involve delivering groups, recording outcomes and completing the relevant admin. This is an exciting and rewarding role where you’ll be able to positively impact people’s future, improving their prospects and their quality of life.

As a Ketamine Group Facilitator you will need to be able to competently deliver Acorn Interventions in the community and comply with Acorn and service providers policies and procedures.

This is a full time role, your hours of work would be 37.5 hours per week Mon – Fri 9.00am – 5.00pm and will involve delivering groups in Central Lancashire (Preston or Chorley).

  • The ability to engage with challenging individuals and build trusting relationships – patience and resilience will be key!
  • A passion for supporting people, providing exceptional care
  • A flexible and innovative approach to service delivery
  • Experience of group delivery
  • Experience in supporting people with ketamine issues
  • Have or working towards NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Hold a UK driving licence and have access to a car
