About the role
Applicants for this position must be available for interview 5th November 2026.
If successful, you’ll be joining a team at Bradbury Mansions, a supported housing project in Southend-on-Sea. You’ll be working alongside colleagues to provide intensive, tailored support to residents who are ready to rebuild their lives with dignity, purpose and hope, as part of a rota that includes weekdays, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
In this role, we’re looking for someone with experience supporting people facing homelessness, addiction, mental ill health or other complex needs — or clearly transferable experience from a related field. You’ll bring a trauma-informed, person-centred approach, confident written and verbal communication, and a good understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality. You’ll need to be able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, as part of a shared rota. Experience of key working or support planning, knowledge of harm reduction approaches, or a relevant qualification in health or social care would be helpful, but is not essential — we’re happy to hear from people who can demonstrate the right values and approach.
