1625 Independent People are recruiting for a Housing and Allocations Administrator to join their team in Bristol on a part-time basis. Salary: £26,824 – £28,142 per year pro rata Hours: 22.5 hours per week, part-time Location: Bristol About the Role: The Housing and Allocations Administrator will provide efficient and effective administrative support to the housing and allocations function at 1625 Independent People. You will manage referrals, allocations and waiting lists for supported accommodation, ensuring young people are matched to appropriate placements in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the referrals inbox and process incoming referrals for supported housing - Coordinate the allocations process, matching young people to appropriate placements - Maintain accurate waiting list records and databases - Liaise with referral agencies, commissioners and internal teams - Produce regular reports on referrals, occupancy and allocations - Support the voids process and assist with property administration - Provide general administrative support to the housing team About You: - Experience in an administrative or housing-related role - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail - Confident using databases and producing reports - Good communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities - An understanding of supported housing or services for young people is desirable 1625 Independent People is a Bristol-based charity working with young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, helping them to build skills, confidence and support networks to live independently.
