Female Night Concierge – Southend-on-Sea

Location: Southend-on-Sea

Hours: 20:30 – 08:30 (including weekends and bank holidays)

We have ongoing job opportunies for a Female Night Security Concierge in Southend-on-Sea to work at a homeless hostel, providing essential overnight support to residents and ensuring the building remains safe and secure.

Responsibilities

- Support residents throughout the night, responding to concerns and needs.

- Monitor and challenge anti-social behaviour.

- Conduct regular security checks and monitor CCTV.

- Respond to incidents and follow emergency procedures.

- Keep communal areas clean and presentable.

- Record events and complete handover reports.

Skills & Experience

- Experience working with vulnerable adults, ideally in a homeless or supported housing setting.

- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

- DBS check required.

Desirable: First Aid or Mental Health First Aid training, conflict resolution skills, valid SIA Badge, experience with complex needs.
