Family Co-ordinator (Tier 1 – 2 Support) – YMCA North Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent

(£14.16 p/h)

Between 30 and 37.5 hours per week negotiable, flexible working
arrangements can be discussed.
Temporary contract until 31st March 2027, then a possibly to
extend depending on funding
Location: Hybrid, Office (Hanley), Home, and in the Community

YMCA North Staffordshire are a local charity who supports young people and families offering meaningful accommodation, campus community, and health and wellbeing services to make a difference in their lives.

An opportunity has arisen to join our friendly Families department. The Family Coordinator will deliver family support services. Working directly with families in theirhomes and communities, they will build rapport, assess needs and co-create personalised plans to address their unique circumstances. Through a combination of support and guidance, you will help families build resilience, improve their coping mechanisms and connect them with essential local recourses.

The ideal candidate will have a level 3 certificate in Health and Social Care or equivalent education, and have previous experience working with families with children. They should also have good organisation, IT, observational, and people skills. Experience of signposting and working with other agencies is desirable in addition to previous experience in a similar role.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS and reference checks and the successful candidate must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
