Location: Subject to the project.
Duties: To co-ordinate and facilitate
meaningful activities and courses for the
residents of Amicus Trust, to support and
improve their life skills and support them
with independent living.
Reporting Line: Life Skills Lead / Director
of Operations
Responsible for: No staff reports.
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to
Friday, with a 36-minute unpaid break.
There is no weekend working.
Salary: £29,998.72
Transport: Must have use of a vehicle;
full clean UK driving licence (max. three
penalty points), vehicle insured for
business use.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Life Skills worker. The purpose of cocoordinating and facilitating activities, courses and opportunities for Amicus
Residents to develop and improve their life skills. These skills will allow our residents
to support themselves with independent living and become stable within society.
In this role you will report into the Life Skills worker Lead and will be expected to
travel to various accommodations within the Amicus Trust portfolio and liaise with
our residents. This includes areas as far as, but is not limited to, Leicester and Corby.
You will, always be expected to operate within Amicus Trust Limited’s policies and
procedures and to take on other duties appropriate to this post, as necessary or as
requested.

To liaise with residents and staff to

on offer.
To have their own case load of
clients.
To liaise with all other providers in
the field including external
sources and to seek out
opportunities to present
meaningful activities and courses
to residents.
To ensure that services are run in
line with relevant legislation and
guidance.
