Llamau is daring to imagine a world without homelessness – will you help us to create it?
Llamau’s mission is to end youth homelessness and homelessness for women in Wales. It’s a big ambition and to some people it might seem impossible, but we know that if we all work together, homelessness genuinely doesn’t have to exist.
We’re looking for passionate, talented and tenacious people to join Team Llamau.
This is a pivotal role within a small team. The data analyst will be involved in all aspects of data analysis including collating, cleaning and interpreting data, creating visual dashboards and insights for the senior management team and provide support to those using Llamau’s case management software. This role will develop meaningful KPIs using business intelligence software and to use techniques to interrogate data ensuring colleagues have information at their fingertips in order to inform key decision making.
You will be a proven problem-solver who is proficient in languages such as SQL and Python.
This role provides assistance to the Evaluation and Quality Assurance Manager and works alongside the Data and Systems Officer using case management software.
You will be experienced in the maintenance of data models and databases, extraction and reporting of data. You will be involved in the design, creation and centralisation of data-systems to demonstrate and evidence the impact service delivery is having on the lives of the people we support and the difference the organisation is making.
At Llamau we believe that no young person or vulnerable woman should ever have to experience homelessness. Our mission is to eradicate homelessness for young people and vulnerable women. But for thousands of the most vulnerable people in Wales, homelessness is a frightening reality.
30 years ago Llamau was founded to provide homeless teenagers with a safe place to stay. Since then, we have supported over 67,000 young people, women and their children who are either homeless or facing homelessness.
Many people think the job of a homelessness charity will be to provide accommodation - a safe place to stay. But it is very clear to us that for most people who are facing homelessness, their problems are far more complex than a lack of permanent shelter.
That's why we treat everyone who needs our support as an individual. We recognise their unique strengths and needs and make sure that they are supported to rebuild their futures.
