Project Description
This service is designed so that private sector landlords or agents acting on their behalf, have access to a service where they can refer their tenants for support. The service will intervene to prevent a need for statutory intervention by the Housing department and work closely with Bridgend County Borough Council in providing support and housing management for their leased properties.
Purpose of Role
To be the face and access point into the service and develop & maintain relationships with landlords, agents and tenants. Providing personalised, psychologically informed support to Service Users on their tenancy issues and to signpost to relevant external agencies when additional support needs are identified. You will liaise with the local authority housing department and other relevant external agencies and carry out all required project Housing Management functions in line with legislation and the Leased Accommodation Scheme, the organisation’s and the projects policies and procedures.
You will also facilitate the quarterly Regional Landlord Forum meetings and offer Landlords ongoing advice and support as well as representing The Wallich at other external meetings as and when require.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
Please note: Driving Licence and access to own vehicle is essential for this role.
