Newlon Housing Trust is a successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of new affordable housing in north and east London.
In this trainee role, you will assist in the delivery of value for money service charges for Newlon and Access by setting and monitoring budgets in line with legislation. You will also work with our customers to provide them with the information they need and assist with any queries they may have, and work closely with the Finance Department to set, monitor and review budgets.
Your aim will be to become a Service Charge Advisor within 18-24 months, and you will have the opportunity to undertake a Level 2 Finance qualification via the apprenticeship route.
We are looking for an individual with strong financial/numerical skills who has an interest in social housing management. You will have proven experience in a customer-facing role, along with excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel. An effective communicator with the ability to work with people at all levels, you will be organised and meticulous in your approach and be committed to delivering the highest quality service to our residents.
