Salary: £42,697.67 per annum (plus £5,023.71 London Weighting Allowance if applicable)
Location: Flexible location, with travel to London and fundraising/industry events expected

Then join Shelter as a Senior Digital Fundraising and Marketing Manager and you could soon be playing a vital role at the heart of our Community and Events fundraising team.
About the role
The Senior Digital Fundraising and Marketing Manager is a vital role as you lead on the Community and Events digital strategy and oversee implementation to acquire and retain supporter audiences. You’ll also line manage a Digital Fundraiser and Marketing Manager and work closely with other members of the Community and Events team, as well as colleagues across the organisation - including other Income Generation teams, Digital, Marketing, Social Media, and CRM teams. Essentially, you’ll be the person we rely on to drive forward the strategic development of our Community and Events digital programme and oversee implementation.
As well as leading on the digital acquisition of new Community and Events audiences, you’ll be able to use supporter insights and data to deliver outstanding supporter experiences at every touch point across digital channels, delivering multiple projects at the same time.
About you
You’ll possess proven digital expertise and need a strong understanding of best practice in marketing communications and experience of drawing up digital marketing strategies. You’ll also be used to delivering marketing results in a customer focused environment and adept at managing and analysing marketing campaigns.
The ability to digest complex data, extract key insights to inform strategies and campaigns and turn findings into clear actions is important too, as are strong project and campaign management skills.
A highly effective communicator with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations, you are skilled in managing high and varied workloads and you have experience of line managing and leading others to develop testing plans and optimise campaigns. What’s more, you enjoy collaborating across teams, thrive on keeping ahead of emerging trends and horizon scanning and are excited by the prospect of working in an innovative team to improve our Community and Events fundraising offerings.

About the team
Our Community and Events teams sits within a wider Income Generation directorate that’s also focused on a variety of other types of fundraising. Welcoming, supportive and keen to meet you, we work hard but try to have a lot of fun too. We also passionately believe in developing our people.
