Are you ready to take on an exciting new challenge in your career?
We are searching for an experienced senior manager with strong people skills to become our Director of Housing. If you're driven by purpose, people-focused, and ready to lead in an environment that values social impact, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
About Zetetick Housing
Zetetick Housing (ZHC) is a well-established and unique specialist housing charity, offering exempt housing provision for supported living. We provide homes and specialised services to support vulnerable adults with learning difficulties, associated disabilities, autism and mental health issues, helping them to sustain their tenancies and become valued members of their local communities. We offer support, freedom and opportunity.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to enable choice, deliver dignity, and act as life partners to our tenants, as they navigate their future housing needs.
Operating in London and the South East, the key to our success has been partnership working with those who share our values of social inclusion within the local community and focused activities that deliver positive outcomes for our tenants.
About the role
As our Director of Housing, you will play a pivotal role in leading the management and operational delivery of high-quality, customer-focused housing management and maintenance Services. This includes ensuring all properties meet health and safety standards as well as regulatory compliance and reporting.
Your leadership will ensure that our homes are safe and welcoming places for our tenants and that they receive the sensitive, responsive service they deserve.
You'll be at the heart of our operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and inclusion with your teams, embodying our values and working closely with care providers, local authorities, estate agents and key stakeholders to support Zetetick’s growth plans.
Reporting to the Chief Executive and serving as a key member of our small leadership team you will bring a demonstrable track record of experience in the housing sector with a focus on supported living. With a recognised housing qualification, ideally CIH level 5, you will have the strategic vision to lead, the collaborative spirit to work across the organisation and the curiosity to learn and share best practice.
Ready to make a difference?
In return, we offer flexible/dynamic working arrangements, allowing you to choose between a 4-day or 5-day week (pro-rata salary for 4 days) with around 50% of your time working from one of our office bases in Croydon or Uckfield or Lewes. You'll enjoy a supportive and friendly work environment, plenty of autonomy, along with opportunities for professional growth.
