Role: Participation Manager
Contract: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week), 12 Months FTC
Salary: £35,294 - £41,969 (Outside London); £39,434 – £46,109 (London Weighting)

Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is seeking a new Participation Manager. In this role you will be the lead for child and youth participation across Centrepoint. You will use your specialist theoretical and practical knowledge to develop and implement a successful participation strategy that ensures that the views of young people are incorporated into all areas of Centrepoint including audit, evaluation, influencing public policy, service development and delivery.
What you’ll be doing…
- Develop and implement an effective cross organisational youth participation strategy that empowers young people and capacity builds staff to deliver the strategy
- Support young people through coaching and training to optimise their participation
- Act as an experienced and trusted advisor, partnering with senior leaders and managers - understanding the context in which they operate and working collaboratively to develop team strategies to deliver meaningful participation across Centrepoint.
- Coach managers to embed effective youth participation within teams, including an approach that empowers young people and promotes the benefits of participation to both them and staff.
