Contract: Part-Time (26.25 hours per week), 12 Months FTC

Salary: £25,357.50 - £28,436.80

Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Hardship Programme Co-ordinator to join our AIM (Advice, Information & Money) Team based in London.
Please note that this is a part-time role and can offer some flexibility as to how the hours are spread across the week.
About us
We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037.
Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year.
Part of the AIM Team (Advice, Information & Money), our Hardship Programme operates thanks to external funding from our Corporate Partners. The Hardships Programme Co-ordinator is first point of contact for Service colleagues supporting young people. The extensive offer currently includes the following programmes:
- An emergency food voucher programme
- A fund supporting young people to overcome an immediate financial hurdle
- A brand new programme which will enable to young people to turn their living space into a home.
Please note this is predominantly an administrative role. IT literacy, excellent communication and organisational skills are essential. The ability to consider key facts (involving young people, their housing and support needs) is of great importance. While the successful candidate may have the opportunity to liaise with and seek feedback from young people, this is not a direct face to face role.

What you’ll be doing
- Making a crucial link between young people and the keyworkers who support them on a day to day basis
- Playing a vital role in programmes that directly impact young people (although not necessarily face to face with them)
- Working to support the wider mission of the AIM Team
- Building relationships with external partners who can support Centrepoints’ aims
