Role Description The Housing Support Worker role is a full-time, on-site position based in Birmingham.
The Housing Support Worker will provide person-centered support to residents in supported accommodation, helping them develop life skills, manage tenancies, and move toward independent living.
Day-to-day tasks include conducting regular keywork sessions, creating and reviewing support plans, assisting with benefits and budgeting, and supporting access to health, social care, and community services.
The role also involves promoting safeguarding and resident safety, monitoring wellbeing, recording accurate case notes, and liaising with external agencies and landlords. The Housing Support Worker will contribute to a positive, respectful environment, encourage resident engagement, and adhere to organizational policies and regulatory standards.

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust and work collaboratively with residents and partners.
- Candidates should possess basic Technical Support skills, including use of digital tools for record-keeping, email, and online resources.
- Ability to work independently, maintain professional boundaries, manage time effectively, and handle challenging situations with resilience and empathy is essential.
Must have access to a car and a full drivers licence.
