Here at NCHA, we are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic
Support Workers to join our friendly and supportive
Supported Living Team in Worksop.
You will support adults with
mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism and complex behaviours to live as independently as possible, promoting choice, dignity and wellbeing every day.

The Service
Our Worksop service consists of
five supported living homes, providing person-centred support to adults with a range of needs. The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, supporting individuals to develop and maintain independent living skills while promoting positive outcomes, safety and wellbeing.
Every person we support has an individual support plan tailored to their specific needs, making every day varied, rewarding and meaningful.
What You Will Be Doing
- Supporting residents with daily living tasks including cooking, cleaning and personal care
- Helping individuals access community activities, social opportunities and leisure pursuits
- Assisting with appointments, shopping, finances and medication support
- Promoting independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing
- Working positively and safely with individuals who may display challenging behaviours
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to person-centred support plans
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes
Working Hours
This is a 24-hour service, so flexibility is essential.
Typical Shift Patterns Include
- Early shifts: 7:00am - 2:30pm
- Late shifts: 2:30pm - 10:00pm
- Sleep-in shifts (Additional pay available)
- Weekend and bank holiday working on a rota basis
What We Need From You
- A caring, adaptable and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude and genuine commitment to improving people's lives
- The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
- A full UK driving licence is required unless disability precludes this
