About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate professional to join our Housing and Support team. In this pivotal role, you’ll help us deliver excellent accommodation and support services to residents who need us most. No two days are the same — but every day makes an impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead with purpose:
• Provide day‑to‑day supervision and support to Housing & Support team members, ensuring brilliant service delivery.
Champion progression:
• Work closely with the Housing & Support Manager and Progression Team to create opportunities for residents to grow, gain independence, and realise their potential.
Support those with higher needs:
• Manage a small caseload of residents with high-risk or complex needs, ensuring they receive the right support, safeguarding, and interventions.
Work collaboratively:
• Partner with teams across the organisation to enhance and personalise the resident experience.
Drive positive outcomes:
• Help maximise occupancy, manage referrals, and build strong relationships with external agencies.
Ensure safety and compliance:
• Uphold tenancy/licence agreements and respond effectively to anti-social behaviour, always following YMCA policies and safeguarding practices.
This is a role where your leadership, empathy, and problem‑solving skills will meaningfully shape the lives of young people and adults rebuilding their futures.
