We currently have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a current Hafod colleague to join our team as a Support Workerwithin Cardiff.
This a permanent role working 12 hours per week. Please note when making your application that we are not offering sponsorship with this role.
You will need a full, current driving licence and use of a vehicle.
What you'll do
You'll be working with established staff and will play a critical role in supporting customers to enhance existing practical skills and knowledge in tenancy management in their journey to independent living. You'll be providing housing related support activities in line with the Housing Support Grant specification and outcomes.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role you'll have experience of supporting individuals with varying complex support needs. You'll need excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and build supportive relationships. Experience of working in working in a psychologically/trauma informed way, experience of supporting people affected by ACE's and people with mental health issues would be advantageous within this role.
A qualification in Social Care or related discipline is desirable but not essential.
