Why work for The Bridge? There are countless reasons.
Maybe you’ve seen someone close to you struggle without support. Or perhaps you’re simply tired of watching the same heartbreaking headlines about homelessness and mental health. If you’ve ever wished you could do something to help, this is your chance.
As a talk²sort Mediator, you’ll be at the heart of meaningful change. You’ll work directly with vulnerable children, young people, and their parents, facing family conflict, often at a critical point where things could spiral into homelessness, poor mental health, or social isolation. Your role will be to step in early, offering support that can truly turn lives around.
You’ll be part of a dynamic Mediation Service focused on early intervention and prevention, improving emotional wellbeing, strengthening relationships, and building resilience. You’ll handle referrals, connect with clients and professionals, and be a trusted guide through difficult times.
From your very first day, we’ll invest in you. You’ll get all the training you need, and we’ll support your growth every step of the way. Because at The Bridge, we believe in valuing people not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because when you feel supported, you’re empowered to make a real difference.
This is more than a job. It’s a chance to change lives, including your own.
Please be aware that this role requires a degree and or a formal mediation qualification (or similar). It also requires experience of working with children and young people of secondary school age.
