Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our farm, ensuring the well-being of the animals and maintaining the facility. This position requires a passion for animal care, the ability to work outside in all weather, and the ability to perform heavy lifting.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for horses and other animals, including feeding, grooming, and health monitoring.
- Maintain cleanliness in stables by mucking out stalls and animal shelters and disposing of waste properly.
- Operate and maintain equipment used for animal care and stable upkeep.
- Ensure that all areas are safe and secure for both animals and staff.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to feed, bedding, or equipment movement.
Skills
- Knowledge of animal care practices and experience handling horses or similar animals is preferred.
- A positive can do attitude is essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the day.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
- A clean drivers license is essential.
- Experience driving trailers would be useful

Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
