YMCA Derbyshire provides housing to people who would otherwise be without a safe place to live, offering short-term accommodation for male and female homeless people mainly between the ages of 16 and 30. Alongside housing, they support residents with independent living skills, employment experience through programmes such as a partnership with Toyota, and access to education and training. They provide these critical foundations for a fresh, strong start for young people and a better quality of life in the Derby community.
