Wycombe Homeless Connection, incorporating the Wycombe Winter Night Shelter (registered charity no. 1156211), is committed to a zero-tolerance approach to leaving people on the street in High Wycombe, working toward its belief that there should be enough homes for everyone.

What we do

The charity's outreach project connects people who are homeless to help and housing options, alongside emergency food, clothing and hygiene packs, help with benefits applications, ID and bank account access, voter registration, and GP registration with healthcare accompaniment. Rather than running its own hostel, Wycombe Homeless Connection helps people understand their housing options and can, in some circumstances, fund emergency accommodation placements directly.

The charity also runs a free Housing Legal Clinic covering the whole of Buckinghamshire, providing legal advice on eviction defence and landlord mediation, and delivers resettlement support to help people move from temporary or unsafe housing into permanent homes, including grants toward rent arrears and deposits. A seasonal, largely volunteer-run Winter Night Shelter adds emergency winter provision.

Who we support

Wycombe Homeless Connection supports people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness across High Wycombe and, through its Housing Legal Clinic, across the whole of Buckinghamshire.
