Roundabout is South Yorkshire's dedicated youth homelessness charity, established in 1977 and based in Sheffield. Its mission is to end youth homelessness by helping young people progress to independence and break the cycle of homelessness for good, supporting around 380 young people at any one time.
Accommodation and support services
Roundabout operates emergency hostel accommodation from its main site on St Barnabas Road in Sheffield, alongside a Homeless Prevention drop-in service on Union Street. Its services combine crisis accommodation with homelessness prevention work, tenancy support to help young people sustain their own homes, and dedicated support for young people leaving the care system.

Who they support and where
Roundabout works with young people aged 16 to 25 across South Yorkshire who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, including many who have experienced childhood trauma, care backgrounds, or complex and multiple needs.
Typical roles include Project Worker and Key Worker positions delivering intensive, person-centred housing-related support across emergency accommodation, supported housing and tenancy sustainment services. Staff often work rota-based shifts, including evenings and weekends.
