Verified

Progress Housing Group is a Lancashire housing association headquartered at Sumner House in Leyland. Registered as a society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014, it marked its 30th anniversary in 2024 and describes itself as one of the North West's leading providers of affordable homes and housing for people over 55. The group is organised into several business streams, including the core housing association, RWP (supported living), Progress Lifeline (technology-enabled care), Progress Living (accommodation for health workers) and its charitable arm, Key Unlocking Futures.

Accommodation and support services

Homelessness and support work sits mainly within Key Unlocking Futures, the group's charity, which reports helping around 8,000 to 10,000 people a year across Lancashire. Key runs supported housing schemes in Preston for young care leavers and adults at risk of homelessness, housing advice for young people in South Ribble and Chorley, a family mediation and therapy project aimed at preventing youth homelessness, tenancy sustainment support for group tenants, women's refuges and outreach for people experiencing domestic abuse, an IDVA service, and The Base community centre in Leyland. RWP separately holds landlord responsibility for more than 4,000 supported living properties across the UK for people with learning disabilities, autism, brain injury or long-term mental health conditions.
