Nightsafe is a local charity in Blackburn with Darwen set up in 1990 to alleviate the plight of homeless and vulnerably housed young people within the borough and surrounding areas. They provide accommodation, day centre services, information, advice and guidance to young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, helping with emergency needs and empowering young people to play a positive role in their community. Nightsafe serves young people up to the age of 25 and has been recognised nationally for outstanding support to homeless young people.
