Who Missing Link Are

Missing Link is a women-only housing association with charitable status, registered under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014. Based in Clifton, Bristol, it supports women of any background, community or age across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire who are struggling with their mental health, or who are victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence and abuse. It describes itself as the largest provider of women-only services in the South West.

Services

• Missing Link's own mental health services, including Help When You Need It (short-term flexible support), a monthly Wellbeing Group, Crisis Houses for women in mental health crisis, and supported housing for women facing homelessness in Bristol and South Gloucestershire
• Next Link, its domestic abuse service, running safe houses such as Oriana House, a dedicated children's team, and specialist services including IRIS ADViSE within sexual health settings
• Safe Link, its sexual violence and abuse service, providing ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Adviser) support, help reporting to police and referrals to counselling
• Community mental health partnerships delivered with the NHS, including the Bristol Community Mental Health Partnership, the BSW Mental Health and Wellbeing Partnership and the South Bristol MINT Team

Missing Link's Link House crisis house has been recognised by the World Health Organisation as one of 28 organisations worldwide modelling best practice in person-centred, recovery and rights-based mental health care. The organisation holds Living Wage Employer, Disability Confident and Women's Aid National Quality Standard accreditations.

Working at Missing Link

Missing Link, Next Link and Safe Link recruit across mental health support, domestic abuse and sexual violence casework, children's services and supported housing, with roles from front-line support and outreach workers up to senior practitioner and management posts. Benefits include up to 30 days' annual leave, extra holiday for International Women's Day, and an employer pension contribution of at least 5% of gross salary.
