Who Just Are

Just (formerly London Cyrenians, and previously known as Just Housing Group) is a London-based charity providing supported housing and care services for vulnerable adults, including people with mental health problems, learning disabilities, and people who have experienced homelessness. Its houses are designed to promote connection, recovery and engagement rather than simply providing a bed, with residents encouraged to get involved in activities such as tending bee hives, growing vegetables in an award-winning garden, or baking in modern communal kitchens.

• Supported housing for people with mental health problems who are well enough to live safely in the community rather than remain in hospital
• Supported housing and care for adults with learning disabilities, helping them enjoy life outside of institutional care
• Rehabilitation and life-coaching support for people who have slept on the streets or otherwise experienced homelessness
• 24-hour, person-centred support ranging from day-to-day emotional reassurance and encouragement to practical help with daily living skills and settling into a new home

Just takes referrals from care professionals and describes its ethos as believing that everyone has a right to shelter, care and support, whatever their diagnosis or background.

Working at Just

Roles at Just span frontline support work and life coaching within its supported housing schemes, domestic and housekeeping support, handyperson and maintenance posts, and specialist positions in quality, education and psychological practice. Staff work directly alongside residents recovering from mental ill health, living with learning disabilities, or rebuilding their lives after homelessness, within a values-led organisation that emphasises recovery, empowerment and genuine connection.
