Who They Are
Green Pastures is a Christian social enterprise and community benefit society that began from a Southport church in 1997 and has grown into a national organisation working to end homelessness. It funds its work through an ethical investment scheme rather than relying on grants.
Services
Green Pastures purchases and provides housing, then partners with local Christian organisations and churches across the UK to deliver on-the-ground support to residents. It currently houses and supports over 1,500 people directly, with thousands more supported through its wider partner network, and has housed more than 16,000 people over its history.
Where They Operate
Nationally across around 100 towns and cities in the UK, with its origins and continuing presence in Southport, Merseyside.
Working There
Green Pastures describes itself as a fast-growing team working toward ending homelessness, with an explicit faith-based culture. There are no open roles at present, but the organisation accepts speculative applications.
