About Encompass Southwest

Encompass Southwest, operating as BPAG Encompass, supports people across North Devon, Torridge and Exeter who are experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, domestic abuse or financial hardship. Its work is organised into housing and accommodation, money and debt advice, rough sleeping outreach, and services for young people.

Services

• Supported accommodation for people at risk of or experiencing homelessness, including a women-only scheme and a Housing First model
• Brave Spaces, accommodation-based support for women affected by domestic abuse, run with the Devon Domestic Abuse Alliance
• Rough sleeper outreach in Torridge and money/debt advice in Exeter
• Services supporting young people at risk of homelessness

Where and who they support

Services are concentrated in Barnstaple, Bideford and wider North Devon/Torridge, plus an Exeter-based money advice partnership, working with vulnerable adults and young people affected by homelessness and domestic abuse.

Working there

Roles range from evening and weekend accommodation support workers in Barnstaple hostels to outreach caseworkers and domestic-abuse prevention caseworkers working across Devon, often on fixed-term, funder-linked contracts.
