About Emmanuel House
Emmanuel House Support Centre is an independent Nottingham charity that has worked for 50 years with people experiencing homelessness, isolation and hardship. It offers practical, day-centre-style support, helping people register with a GP, access housing aid and the street outreach service, apply for accommodation and benefits, and open bank accounts, alongside a wider Community Connections programme addressing homelessness across Nottinghamshire.
Who they support
Emmanuel House works with homeless, vulnerable and isolated adults in Nottingham, including people affected by housing insecurity and social exclusion, and encourages applications from people with lived experience of these issues.
Working there
Roles span front-line community connector and case-management positions through to volunteer co-ordination, typically full- or part-time and centred on collaborative, person-centred casework across housing, health, benefits and wellbeing.
