Amber Foundation is a national charity supporting young adults aged 18 to 30 who are facing homelessness, unemployment, and other significant life challenges including substance misuse, mental health difficulties, care experience or a history of offending.

The charity runs four residential supported housing centres providing 24-hour, live-in support: Ashley Court in Chawleigh, Devon; Bythesea Lodge in Trowbridge, Wiltshire; Farm Place in Ockley, Surrey; and Downsview in Ashford, Kent. Each centre houses a community of around 30 young people, with an average stay of six to nine months, delivering a structured programme covering accommodation, employment support, health and wellbeing, and independent living skills.

Working at Amber Foundation

Amber's staff teams live and work alongside residents as part of each centre's community, guided by the values Compassionate, Aspirational, Inclusive and Accountable. Team Leader roles combine pastoral support, risk management, and day-to-day community life to help young people rebuild their futures.
